The magistrate’s court has acquitted rapper Namewee of a charge related to drug self-administration.
Namewee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, 42, was cleared of the charge today. The case had previously been postponed after he was unable to attend court proceedings due to an Influenza A infection.
