A woman believed to be from China has attracted widespread attention on social media after a video surfaced alleging that she has been living at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for nearly a year.
The clip, shared by a Threads user, features a voiceover claiming that the woman eats, sleeps and bathes at the airport. In the footage, she is seen becoming visibly upset, allegedly after children were playing nearby.
The video shows the woman speaking loudly to another passenger, while a woman wearing a brown T-shirt and jeans appeared to be attempting to calm her down. Throughout the recording, the woman wore sunglasses and was dressed in black leggings and a light blue crop top, with her hair tied back in a ponytail.
In another scene, she is seen sitting in a waiting area at KLIA, using her phone and surrounded by several pieces of luggage placed on airport trolleys.
The video has sparked widespread discussion online, with users questioning how long the woman has been staying at the airport and whether authorities were aware of her presence.
As of publication, there has been no official response from the Immigration Department or Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), the operator of KLIA, regarding the claims.
