Maybank Reports Intermittent DuitNow Disruptions

Date:

Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has confirmed that it is experiencing intermittent system slowness affecting DuitNow services, including QR payments, fund transfers, bill payments and related transactions.

In a post on X today, the bank said some transactions may take longer than usual to process or may be temporarily unavailable.

Maybank advised customers that Interbank GIRO (IBG) transfers remain unaffected and can be used as an alternative during the disruption.

“Rest assured that work is ongoing to restore the affected services as soon as possible,” the bank said.
