Youth Chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden has described Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s resignation as Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman as a generous and commendable gesture, praising the former prime minister’s leadership and service to the nation.
Afnan highlighted Muhyiddin’s contributions to PN and Malaysia, particularly his leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic, saying they would always be remembered and respected.
“We regard this as a big-hearted and highly respected decision. All of Tan Sri’s contributions while leading PN and the country will continue to be remembered,” he wrote in a Facebook post today.
