Patrons at a fast-food outlet and nearby premises in Banting, Kuala Langat, were left shaken following an incident believed to involve a shooting late last night.
Photos and videos circulating on social media showed a man lying unconscious against the exterior wall of the restaurant, with visible injuries. Bloodstains were also seen on the wall near where the man was found.
One of the videos appeared to show at least two bullet casings on the floor at the scene, further fuelling speculation that shots had been fired.
When contacted, Kuala Langat police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said the police are aware of the incident and will release an official statement in due course.
