Man Lured To Woman’s Home To “See A Cat”, Beaten For Over An Hour In Pattaya

Date:

A man has claimed he was brutally assaulted after being invited to a woman’s home under the pretext of seeing her cat in an incident in Pattaya.

According to a report by Channel 7, the 21-year-old victim said he suffered serious injuries after being attacked by the woman’s boyfriend, who allegedly strangled him, beat him and stomped on him for more than an hour.

The victim said the incident occurred on the night of December 24, 2025, while he was drinking with friends at Smileland Market in North Pattaya, where he met the woman. She reportedly told him she was single before inviting him to her house in Soi Khao Ta Lo.

Upon arriving at the house, the man said he became suspicious after noticing a pair of men’s shoes. However, he was told they belonged to a family member.

Shortly afterwards, the woman’s boyfriend returned home and allegedly attacked the victim, claiming the house belonged to a government officer.

The badly injured man was taken to hospital for treatment before lodging a police report at the Nong Prue Police Station.

He also alleged that the woman’s boyfriend had filed a police report accusing him of trespassing, a claim he denied, insisting he had been invited into the house.

The victim’s family has urged police to speed up investigations to ensure justice is served.
