Two men were arrested in a drug raid at a house along Jalan Song, Kuching, on Saturday afternoon.
Kuching police chief Assistant Commissioner Alexson Naga Chabu said the suspects, aged 31 and 44, were detained at about 1.15pm.
During the raid, police seized 12 packets containing crystal substances believed to be methamphetamine, weighing a total of 6.23 grammes and estimated to be worth RM685.
Both men tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine. Police also discovered that they had criminal histories, with the older suspect having 17 previous records, while the younger man had one prior record.
The case is being investigated under Section 39A(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Both suspects have been remanded until Thursday to assist with further investigations.
