The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning, accompanied by heavy rain and strong winds, affecting Selangor, Sabah, Sarawak, and the Federal Territory of Labuan until noon today.
In a statement, MetMalaysia said the warning covers several areas in Selangor, including Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor, as well as Limbang (Lawas) in Sarawak.
The same weather warning also affects several districts in Sabah, including the interior areas of Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, and Keningau, as well as the west coast areas of Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Kota Belud, and Labuan.
