A Singaporean man was captured on video forcing open a car exit barrier at Parklane Shopping Mall at around 9:32pm on January 19, 2026.
According to footage shared by SG Road Vigilante, a Mercedes was waiting at the exit gantry when the man lifted the barrier to allow the vehicle to pass.
After the car went through, the man approached the vehicle and opened the front passenger door, seemingly entering the car.
It is unclear why the man forced the barrier or whether other drivers or passengers had been involved in similar actions.
