In conjunction with the official celebration of Federal Territory Day 2026, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) is offering a Special Registration Number (NPI) series bearing the index ‘FH 1 to FH 9999’ through its JPJeBid online bidding system, starting this Sunday.
JPJ Director-General Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the public bidding period will begin on Sunday and close at 10pm next Thursday.
“The introduction of the ‘FH’ registration series carries significant symbolic value in commemorating the establishment of the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, as well as recognising the roles and contributions of the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Labuan to national development,” he said.
He was speaking at a press conference after officiating the launch of the ‘FH’ special registration series in conjunction with Federal Territory Day at the Putrajaya Corporation today.
Aedy Fadly added that the bidding results will be announced within 24 hours after the bidding period ends, on February 6.
He explained that the minimum bid prices under the JPJeBid system are set as follows:
- Golden numbers: minimum RM20,000
- Premium numbers: RM5,000
- Attractive numbers: RM2,500
- Popular numbers: RM500
- Running (ordinary) numbers: RM300
“The bidding process is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated under the JPJeBid system,” he said.
He added that any successfully bid registration number must be registered to a vehicle within 12 months from the date the official bidding result letter is issued.
