Malaysia and Saudi Arabia are set to formalise a defence cooperation agreement as Defence Minister Khaled Nordin begins his official working visit to the kingdom today.
Khaled said that several memoranda of understanding involving Malaysian defence industry companies are also expected to be signed during the visit.
He is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, to discuss matters of mutual interest in defence collaboration.
In addition, Khaled will attend the World Defence Show, which kicks off tomorrow in Riyadh, providing a platform to explore further defence partnerships and showcase Malaysia’s defence capabilities.
