A video of a violent incident at Lucky Plaza has gone viral, showing a man attacking a woman and attempting to kick her while she was on the ground.
The 29-second clip, shared on Reddit and Facebook, shows the man following the woman before throwing a punch at the back of her head, prompting screams from bystanders. When the woman tried to walk away, he kicked her from behind, knocking her down near a shop entrance. The man also slipped and fell during the attack.
Despite being on the ground, the woman narrowly avoided a full-force kick aimed at her head. Several bystanders, mostly women, stepped in to protect her, with one even throwing a shopping basket at the attacker. Others assisted the fallen woman, while the man eventually backed off as a crowd gathered around.
According to reports, the incident on February 8 reportedly began after the woman refused a drink offered by the man. He allegedly complained about having “spent a lot of money” on her and even shoved a shopkeeper during the altercation.
Lucky Plaza has yet to comment on the incident, which has sparked outrage online for the attacker’s violent behaviour.
