Sandara Park’s team has firmly denied recent drug allegations made by fellow K-pop artist Park Bom, calling the claims “completely unfounded,” a close associate told The Fact on March 3.
Earlier the same day, Park Bom posted a handwritten letter on social media accusing Sandara Park of using drugs and claiming that she was falsely portrayed as a drug user to cover up Park’s own situation. She wrote that Adderall, which she takes for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), is not a recreational drug, noting it was unavailable in South Korea at the time and that its legal status was unclear.
Sandara Park’s representatives responded with a brief statement: “These claims are baseless, and Sandara Park is concerned about Park Bom’s current health.”
Park Bom previously faced scrutiny in October 2010 for importing Adderall, a controlled substance in South Korea, from the United States without declaring it. She was granted a deferred indictment after providing medical records proving it was for legitimate treatment.
Separately, Park Bom raised controversy in 2025 over alleged settlement issues with YG Entertainment, hinting at financial disputes. Her agency, D-NATION, clarified that all 2NE1-related settlements had been completed and no lawsuit had been filed.
