Deputy District Police Chief, Superintendent M Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly, confirmed that a missing persons report was formally lodged for 33-year-old Cheah Yew Wei at 9:52 AM on March 25. Authorities are now intensifying efforts to track his whereabouts and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
According to police records, Cheah was last seen on March 15 at approximately 8:00 PM in the Rimba area of Kota Damansara. It has been over ten days since his last confirmed sighting, leading to increased concern regarding his safety. Investigators are currently retracing his final known movements and checking local surveillance footage to determine his direction of travel after leaving the Kota Damansara area.
In a statement released today, the police provided a physical description of the missing individual to assist the public in identification. Cheah Yew Wei is described as:
- Height: Approximately 178 centimeters
- Weight: Around 100 kilograms
- Skin Tone: Fair-complexioned
Superintendent M Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly requested that anyone who may have spotted a person matching this description or who possesses any information regarding his current location contact the investigation team immediately.
