Motorcyclist Ambushed With Iron Pipe Over Loud Exhaust, Gets 11 Stitches

Date:

A young man reported being ambushed and injured after being hit with an iron pipe while riding his motorcycle. He believes the injury was due to his loud exhaust pipe and is urging the police to arrest the perpetrator.

On April 19, 2026, Mr. A (pseudonym), a resident of Bueng Sam Phan District, Phetchabun Province, complained that on the night of April 13, 2026, while he was riding his motorcycle home, someone ambushed him by the roadside about 700 meters before his house and threw an iron pipe at him. The pipe hit the handlebars, causing pain in his right hand, and another piece of metal ricocheted into his left shoulder.

Mr. A continued, saying he was very shocked and immediately rode his motorcycle home. Upon arriving home, he found that he was bleeding profusely and wouldn’t stop. He then had a friend take him to Bueng Sam Phan Hospital, where it was discovered that his right index finger was broken and he had a wound on his left shoulder measuring 3 x 1 cm and 2 cm deep. It required two layers of stitches: 4 stitches on the inside and 7 stitches on the outside, totaling 11 stitches.

After the incident, police officers came to question me at the emergency room of Bueng Sam Phan Hospital and told me to file a police report. Now that I’ve been discharged from the hospital, the police have remained silent.

I want the police to expedite the process of tracking down the perpetrators and bringing them to justice. It’s unacceptable to ambush someone riding a motorcycle with a loud exhaust like this. Luckily, the motorcycle didn’t fall; if it had, it could have been fatal.

The likely cause was that someone was upset about the loud exhaust on their motorcycle, but doing something like that was unacceptable and could have been fatal. Luckily, the motorcycle didn’t fall over, and I wasn’t the first person to encounter this—the second.

Therefore, we urge the police at Bueng Sam Phan Police Station to expedite the investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice, as this act poses a threat to society and shows a complete disregard for the law.
