Father-In-Law Confessed and Hugged Me — Woman Shares Horrifying Story

Date:

A young woman has revealed a shocking encounter in which her father-in-law harassed her, sparking a heated discussion online. According to her post on the forum Dcard, the incident happened one morning as she was preparing to leave for work. While handing her child to her mother-in-law, her father-in-law suddenly called her over, saying he had something to tell her. To her horror, he confessed, “I think Daddy likes you!” and immediately followed up with a request: “Can I hug you?”

Caught off guard and still half-asleep, she repeatedly refused, but he persisted. With no one around to help and needing to leave for work, she reluctantly gave him a brief hug before pushing him away and leaving. On her commute, she became increasingly disturbed, replaying the encounter in her mind and feeling a strong sense of disgust and violation.

The woman admitted she hesitated to tell her mother-in-law or husband for fear of disrupting family harmony, especially since her husband is close with his parents. Feeling helpless, she turned to the internet for advice.

Her post quickly went viral, drawing widespread condemnation of the father-in-law’s actions. Netizens urged her to collect evidence, protect herself, and even consider moving out to avoid potential danger. Comments included advice such as recording conversations, setting up cameras, and making sure the husband understands the seriousness of the situation.

In a follow-up, she shared that she has begun taking precautions: keeping recording devices on and installing a surveillance camera in her room to gather evidence while safeguarding herself and her daughter. She explained that, given her husband’s close relationship with his family, she needed concrete proof before speaking up to ensure her claims would be taken seriously and that she could protect her child in the future.

This case has ignited an intense online conversation about boundaries, harassment, and the importance of evidence in family disputes.
