iOS 27 is expected to introduce new AI-powered photo editing features for iPhones this fall, expanding Apple’s image editing capabilities.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will add a new “Apple Intelligence Tools” section within the Photos app editor.
This section is set to include four AI features: Extend, Enhance, Reframe, and Clean Up.
Currently, only the Clean Up tool is available in the Photos app, allowing users to remove unwanted objects from images.
However, early comparisons suggest it did not perform as strongly as Google’s Magic Editor when it was first released last year.
