Police are on the hunt for four suspects believed to be involved in a arson attack on two vehicles belonging to a welder in Kapar, Klang, on Tuesday night.
Klang North District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner S Vijaya Rao confirmed that authorities received a report regarding the incident of mischief by fire at around 12.12am.
He said the victim only realised the incident after hearing an explosion and later discovered that his Toyota Avanza and Perodua Myvi were on fire. The 55-year-old man, however, managed to extinguish the blaze with the assistance of neighbours before it could spread further.
