Dashcam Video Shows Motorcyclists Crashing Into Stationary Car On Penang Bridge

Date:

A dashcam video circulating online has captured a road accident involving two motorcyclists at the Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah in Penang.

The footage shows both riders travelling along the main car lane instead of the designated motorcycle lane before colliding with a stationary vehicle that was parked along the emergency lane.

The impact caused both motorcycles to crash, with debris and parts of the bikes scattered across the road following the collision.

The incident has sparked criticism from netizens, with many questioning why the motorcyclists were riding in the car lane when a dedicated motorcycle lane was available on the bridge, which could have helped avoid the accident.

As of now, no police report has been lodged regarding the incident, and the condition of the riders involved remains unknown.

Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the case.
