Fatal Motorcycle Crash: Couple Dies After Colliding with Tree and Lamp Post

Date:

Late last night, a tragic motorcycle accident claimed the lives of a man and a woman in Taiwan. Around 11:00 PM, the pair were riding together near the intersection of Guoguang Road and Zhongxing Road when, for unknown reasons, they collided with a roadside tree and lamp post, causing both to fall violently to the ground.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:58 PM. The woman, 39-year-old Ms. Chen, was riding the motorcycle with 55-year-old Mr. Lin as her passenger. After crossing Dali Bridge heading north, the motorcycle lost control near the intersection, smashing into the tree and lamp post. The front of the motorcycle was heavily damaged, with parts scattered across the road, and a large pool of blood marked the scene, indicating the severity of the impact.

Emergency responders arrived promptly and found both victims without a pulse. CPR was administered on site before transporting them to separate hospitals—Chen to Dali Ren’ai Hospital and Lin to Asia University Hospital. Tragically, Chen was pronounced dead at 1:00 AM, and Lin succumbed to his injuries at 3:48 AM.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and the relationship between the two victims to determine what led to this devastating crash.
