Man Found Dead At Tanjong Karang Jetty Sparks Shock

Residents and fishermen were left in shock after the body of a foreign man was discovered at the Bagan Pasir jetty in Tanjong Karang yesterday.

Kuala Selangor district police chief Superintendent Azaharudin Tajudin said authorities received a call from the public at about 9.45am.

He said the body was found floating in the water.

“Initial investigations at the scene found that the deceased was fully clothed and in a decomposed state,” he said.

He added that no elements of foul play were detected at the location.

The body has since been sent to the Forensic Unit of Tanjong Karang Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police have opened an investigation paper into the case, which has been classified as sudden death (SDR).
