Vanessa Trump has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 48-year-old shared the personal health update through an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday, saying she is currently working closely with doctors on a treatment plan.
“I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” Vanessa wrote.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”
Vanessa also thanked her doctors for a medical procedure she underwent earlier this week.
Despite the difficult diagnosis, she said she remains “focused and hopeful” while being surrounded by support from family members and her children.
“Thank you for your kindness and support. It truly means more than I can express,” she added.
“I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Following the announcement, messages of support quickly flooded social media from friends, family members and followers.
Ivanka Trump publicly responded to the post, writing: “Praying for your continued strength and speedy recovery. Love you mama.”
Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 until their divorce in 2018.
The former couple share five children together — Kai, Chloe, Donald III, Tristan and Spencer.
In recent years, Vanessa has also attracted media attention for her relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods.
The pair have reportedly been dating since late 2024.
Earlier this year, Vanessa publicly showed support for Woods following his DUI-related arrest after a car crash in Jupiter Island.
She later shared a photo with the golfer on Instagram accompanied by the message: “Love you.”
Vanessa’s latest health announcement has since sparked an outpouring of encouragement online, with many followers praising her openness and wishing her strength throughout her recovery journey.
