A sport utility vehicle (SUV) overturned after crashing into a roadside guardrail along the East Coast Expressway, with the condition of those inside the vehicle remaining unknown.
The accident reportedly occurred on Friday afternoon on the stretch of highway between Gerik and the Titiwangsa toll plaza in Perak.
Dashcam footage of the incident was later shared on Facebook by a fisherman who happened to be passing through the area at the time.
The video shows a Toyota SUV travelling along the road before suddenly losing control, veering into the roadside barrier and flipping over onto the roadway.
No further details regarding injuries or fatalities have been released.
