Woman Caught On CCTV Climbing Wall To Steal Clothes

Police have launched a manhunt for a woman suspected of trespassing into a residential property and stealing clothing that had been left out to dry in Ampang Jaya.

Ampang Jaya District Police Chief ACP Khairul Anuar said authorities received a report from the victim and have since opened an investigation into the incident.

Preliminary investigations found that an individual dressed in a long robe allegedly climbed over a wall to enter the house compound before making off with several items of clothing.

According to police, no other belongings were reported missing.

The case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code for theft and Section 447 for criminal trespass.

The incident reportedly took place at around 5.54am on Saturday in Taman Cheras Indah, Ampang Jaya.

CCTV footage shared on Threads by a resident appears to show a woman dressed in a dark green robe and face veil scaling a wall before entering the property and allegedly stealing clothes hanging outside the home.

Police are currently working to identify and locate the suspect.
