Woman Orders Frog Dish ‘Without Cooking’, Receives Bag Of Live Frogs Instead

Date:

A woman in Shanghai was left stunned after a food delivery order arrived with a surprising twist – a bag full of live frogs.

The unusual incident quickly went viral on Chinese social media after a woman known online as “Little Rabbit Rabby” shared a video of her unexpected delivery on Douyin.

According to the content creator, she had ordered a bullfrog dish through a food delivery platform and included a special note asking for the frogs not to be cooked.

However, when the order arrived and she opened the package, she was shocked to discover several live bullfrogs moving around inside a plastic bag.

The woman burst into laughter and struggled to find words as she reacted to the bizarre delivery.

In the now-viral video, she was even seen picking up one of the frogs with her bare hands before jokingly asking, “Mr Frog, are you okay?”

The clip quickly attracted widespread attention online, generating more than 5,000 comments from amused netizens.

Many praised the restaurant for taking the customer’s request literally, while others joked about the confusion behind the order.

One user quipped that the restaurant may have interpreted the request as a challenge to prove the dish was not made using pre-prepared ingredients.

Another commented, “The restaurant didn’t understand the request, but respected it.”

Some social media users also joked about the delivery rider’s experience, imagining the surprise of discovering that the food inside the delivery box was still moving.

Others humorously suggested that the frogs themselves would be eternally grateful for being spared from the cooking pot.

The incident has since become a trending topic online, with many viewers calling it one of the funniest food delivery misunderstandings they have ever seen.

While the customer’s original intention remains unclear, the restaurant’s literal interpretation of the request has turned an ordinary takeaway order into an internet sensation.
