Tourist Accused Of Bullying Sheep At Cameron Highlands Farm

Date:

A female tourist has come under fire on social media after a viral video appeared to show her repeatedly pulling and grabbing a sheep’s wool during a visit to a farm in Cameron Highlands.

The footage, which has attracted widespread attention online, shows the woman repeatedly tugging at the animal’s fleece and patting various parts of its body despite visible signs that the sheep was becoming agitated.

As the interaction continued, the sheep was seen charging at the woman several times in an apparent attempt to ward her off.

However, the woman allegedly continued disturbing the animal and only stopped after it began actively chasing her around the enclosure.

The incident was reportedly witnessed by a visitor from Taiwan, who later uploaded the video online.

According to the uploader, she was dining nearby when she noticed the woman’s behaviour towards the sheep.

She claimed the tourist was accompanied by a male companion who did not intervene or attempt to stop her actions.

The witness also noted that other visitors at the farm were interacting appropriately with the animals by taking photographs, feeding them and gently petting them.

She alleged that the woman featured in the video was the only visitor seen harassing the sheep.

The clip quickly gained traction online, accumulating more than 1.3 million views and sparking a wave of criticism from internet users.

Many commenters accused the woman of mistreating the animal, while others stressed the importance of respecting animals and following proper conduct when visiting farms and wildlife attractions.

The incident has reignited discussions about responsible tourism and the treatment of animals at public attractions, with many social media users calling for greater awareness and respect when interacting with animals.

While no official complaint has been reported, the viral footage continues to generate strong reactions across social media platforms.
