A father has captured attention online after creatively modifying a regular bicycle into a motorcycle-inspired model resembling a ‘Ysuku’, all in an effort to fulfil his young son’s wish.
The unique creation was shared in a video on Threads by user Zahrasha2001, where several police officers were seen both amused and impressed while inspecting the 13-year-old boy’s customised bicycle.
According to the teenager, the bicycle was transformed using various improvised materials, including an exhaust made from a snack tin, a seat constructed from composite board, and decorative rear signal lights.
The boy said he had always wanted to ride a motorbike like the ‘Ysuku’, but since he is still underage, his father decided to build a bicycle version instead.
In the video, the teenager also demonstrated the working features of the modified bicycle, which was fitted with a basic wiring system to power its decorative lights, while officers observed and asked questions.
The clip has since gone viral, drawing praise from social media users who admired the father’s creativity and described it as a meaningful expression of bonding between parent and child.
Many commenters said the effort reflected strong family ties and positive upbringing, with some noting that the experience could inspire the boy to pursue automotive studies in the future.
