US Launches Airstrikes On Iran Amid Escalating Tensions, Trump Issues Warning

Date:

US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, including the possibility of further military action, following US airstrikes on several strategic targets in the country on Saturday, according to Anadolu Ajansi (AA).

Trump claimed that US military aircraft struck missile and drone storage sites as well as coastal radar facilities in Iran, which he said were in response to repeated violations of a ceasefire agreement.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said Iran had “once again failed to comply” with the truce and warned that more decisive action could follow if the situation continues.

He suggested that Washington could reach a point where it is no longer able to tolerate the developments, including the possibility of expanding military operations against Iran.

Trump further stated that if such a scenario occurs, Iran could face severe consequences, reiterating his firm stance on Tehran’s actions.

The remarks came after US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed additional strikes on multiple targets in Iran, following allegations of an attack on a Panama-flagged tanker near the Strait of Hormuz.

The renewed escalation has raised concerns over regional stability, with tensions in the area already remaining high due to ongoing geopolitical conflicts.
