A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a horrific early morning crash after his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle and burst into flames along Jalan Putatan.
The tragic incident occurred at about 4.30am, with the victim identified as Fandi Jame, who was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries sustained in the collision.
According to the Putatan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) chief, Musran Jabri, emergency services received a distress call at 4.45am regarding the accident.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found the motorcycle completely engulfed in flames following the impact with another vehicle, resulting in total destruction of the machine.
Authorities confirmed that one victim had died at the location and the remains were handed over to the police for further action and investigation into the cause of the crash.
