A woman was killed in a road accident involving two vehicles along Jalan Kuala Bikam, Sungkai, at about 8.28am today.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Assistant Director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the crash involved a Perodua Myvi and a Perodua Axia.
He said there were two occupants in the Myvi, a man and a woman, while the Axia was driven by a man.
“The Myvi driver sustained leg injuries, while the female passenger was confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel,” he said.
The Axia driver suffered minor injuries to the legs and body, he added.
All injured victims were sent to Tapah Hospital for treatment, while the deceased was handed over to police for further action.
