Man Caught ‘Adding’ Curry Puff To McDonald’s Burger In Viral Video

Date:

A man has gone viral after he was caught on camera appearing to sneak a curry puff into a burger at a McDonald’s restaurant, leaving social media users puzzled—until the surprising truth was revealed.

In a video shared by Mothership, the man, dressed in a cap and hoodie, was seen lingering near the order collection counter. When his turn arrived, he quietly opened his burger before slipping what appeared to be a curry puff between the top bun and the chicken patty.

The unusual food combination quickly sparked curiosity online, with many wondering whether the man had created his own unique burger hack. While the sight raised eyebrows, some suggested the pairing might actually work, given the popularity of McDonald’s curry sauce with Chicken McNuggets.

According to a McDonald’s fan interviewed by Mothership, the combination “has potential”, explaining that the flavours of crispy chicken and aromatic curry rempah could complement each other surprisingly well.

Despite the bizarre-looking scene, the video was not what it initially seemed. The clip was actually part of a promotional campaign teasing McDonald’s Singapore’s upcoming National Day menu launch.

The marketing stunt has since generated buzz online, with many now eager to see whether the fast-food giant will officially introduce the curry puff-inspired burger as part of its special National Day offerings.
