Johor MIC Vows Better Service After BN’s Strong Election Victory

Date:

Johor MIC has pledged to intensify its efforts and fulfil commitments made to the people following Barisan Nasional’s (BN) strong performance in the state election.

The party achieved a full victory by winning all four seats it contested, including notable wins in Perling and Bukit Batu, which were previously held by Pakatan Harapan (PH).

Johor MIC chairman K. Raven Kumar said the party accepted the outcome with humility, viewing the victory as a greater responsibility to serve the people and meet their expectations.

He expressed appreciation to Johor voters who placed their confidence in BN, saying the coalition’s success reflected public support for stable leadership, responsible administration and its plans to strengthen the state.

“The standard expected of every elected representative is now higher, and the people have every right to demand better service, stronger commitment and greater efforts from us,” he said in a statement.

Raven stressed that all BN representatives must remain humble, approachable and dedicated to serving all Johoreans regardless of race, religion or background.

He said the election results showed that unity, strong engagement with the community and focus on addressing real issues remained key factors in gaining public trust.

According to Raven, the victory also reinforced MIC’s role as a component party within BN, with the party committed to working alongside its coalition partners to improve services for the people.

“As Johor MIC chairman, I assure the people that we will continue supporting inclusive development, creating more opportunities for every community and working closely with the Johor government to achieve the Maju Johor agenda,” he said.
