Authorities are verifying a report claiming that a female student fell from a building at SMK Tun Datu Mustapha in Kinarut, Papar, during school hours on Wednesday.
According to the report, the Form Two student was rushed to hospital for treatment following the alleged incident. However, the authenticity of the report has yet to be officially confirmed.
The reported case comes about a year after the death of Zara Qairina, which also drew public attention.
When contacted, police referred all enquiries regarding the alleged incident to the Sabah Education Department.
As of press time, the Sabah Education Department had not issued any official statement or response on the matter.
