Two elderly women sustained injuries after a motorcycle and a container lorry were involved in a collision at Tanjong Karang Bridge yesterday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division Assistant Director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at around 2.50pm.
Following the report, a team of six firefighters along with a fire engine from the Tanjong Karang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was dispatched to the scene.
He said the operation commander reported that the crash involved two vehicles, namely a Honda Wave motorcycle and a Volvo container lorry.
“Two victims, both in their 60s, suffered injuries to their right legs,” he said.
Ashrul Riezal added that both victims were later handed over to the Ministry of Health (KKM) for further medical treatment.
