Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on voters in Negeri Sembilan to put aside political differences after the state election campaign and work together to preserve stability and ensure the continuity of the state administration.
In a video shared on his Facebook page, the Prime Minister acknowledged that the campaign period had seen differing views and spirited exchanges, adding that some parties may have gone too far in their remarks.
“Throughout the Negeri Sembilan state election campaign, many opinions have been expressed. I believe there may have been moments where some crossed the line, so let us forgive one another and move forward together because we are all Malaysians,” he said.
Anwar also encouraged voters of all races and religions to fulfil their responsibility by casting their ballots during Saturday’s polling day.
He said Pakatan Harapan is seeking a renewed mandate to continue serving the people, maintain political stability and drive economic growth that benefits the people of Negeri Sembilan.
“I represent PH in asking the people to give us the opportunity to continue serving, strengthen stability and accelerate growth that will bring greater prosperity to the people of Negeri Sembilan together with the Federal Government and the MADANI Government,” he said.
The Prime Minister stressed that political stability remains an important foundation for sustainable development and economic progress, urging voters to make their choice based on the state’s future.
A total of 859,750 out of 889,940 registered voters are eligible to cast their ballots in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election on Saturday.
