Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim gave a light-hearted response after receiving an invitation from a young pupil to attend a Hari Usahawan Cilik event at Al Sakeenah Learning Centre in Subang Jaya.
Responding on Threads, Anwar said he would have liked to attend but apologised as he would be in Brunei on Saturday.

“I’d love to go, but sorry, I’ll be in Brunei on Saturday,” he wrote.
The Prime Minister also wished the event at the learning centre well and gave the children a playful reminder not to go overboard with snacks.
“I pray that the kindergarten canteen day goes smoothly. Don’t buy too many snacks,” he added.
The invitation came after a teacher at the centre, identified as Aqilkmzmn, shared a message written by one of the pupils on Threads, inviting Anwar to attend the event.
The young student amusingly referred to the Prime Minister as “Uncle Anwar” in the invitation.
According to the teacher, the pupil had asked whether it was possible to invite “PMX” to the Hari Usahawan Cilik event.
“We told him that if he managed to get PMX to come, his teacher would give him 100 marks on ClassDojo as a reward.
“And there he went and called PMX ‘Uncle’,” the teacher wrote.
Anwar’s response quickly added a wholesome touch to the exchange, showing how a simple invitation from a young pupil managed to catch the Prime Minister’s attention.
