Nepal Police have released a partial list of people reported missing following the devastating floods in the country, including 23 Malaysian nationals.
The list, published on the Nepal Police Facebook page as of 1pm local time on Thursday, comprises 8 women and 15 men from Malaysia, although the figures stated in the list indicate 23 individuals in total.
The details provided include the names, dates of birth and nationalities of those reported missing.

The release of the names comes as authorities continue efforts to account for people affected by the disaster, with the situation on the ground complicated by severe flooding and damage to infrastructure.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the exact number of Malaysians still unaccounted for had yet to be confirmed by the Nepalese authorities.
Nepal Police have also compiled photographs and details of unidentified bodies recovered following the disaster to assist families searching for missing relatives.
The identification material can be accessed through a QR code available on the Nepal Police Facebook page, allowing families to check whether any of the unidentified victims could be their loved ones.
Authorities are continuing search, rescue and identification efforts as the full impact of the devastating floods is being assessed.
