A three-year-old boy was rescued after he became trapped inside a car in Taman Melaka Baru, Batu Berendam, Melaka, on Sunday.
Melaka Fire and Rescue Department public information officer Deputy Fire Superintendent II Mohd Hafidzatullah Rashid said the department received an emergency call at 1.34pm.
He said 10 firefighters from the Melaka Tengah Fire and Rescue Station, along with three fire engines, arrived at the scene about eight minutes later.
“Firefighters found a three-year-old boy locked inside a Honda car. The team carried out a rescue operation and successfully opened the vehicle door, with the child found safe,” he said.
