A woman whose vehicle was crushed by a fallen tree on the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) yesterday thanked the delivery riders who rushed to help her after the incident.
The woman, identified as Izszana, said in a Threads post that she escaped the incident without injury despite the tree falling directly onto her vehicle at about 5.20pm.
“Thank you to all the riders who helped me during the fallen tree incident on the North-South Expressway/NKVE northbound at 5.20pm on Friday.
“Alhamdulillah, I am safe and did not suffer any injuries. Thank God, I have been given more time to live,” she wrote.
Izszana said there were no other vehicles near hers when the tree came down, describing the incident as a test she had been put through.
She said footage from her vehicle’s dashcam made her realise how fortunate she was, as there had been no car on her left side at the time.
“To the vehicles in front of and behind me, please share your dashcam footage if you have any,” she wrote.
In the same post, Izszana uploaded a clip recorded by her vehicle’s dashcam showing the moment the tree fell onto her car.
The footage showed her vehicle being struck by the tree while no other vehicles were immediately alongside it.
