A man was reportedly seen wielding a knife and an empty plastic bottle while appearing to threaten passing vehicles in a busy commercial area near Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan on Wednesday (October 14).
According to a post shared online, the incident occurred around noon when the man stood in front of vehicles and made threatening gestures with the objects in his hands.
Passing motorists reportedly sounded their horns, prompting the man to leave the area.
However, it was later discovered that the knife he was holding was actually a plastic knife commonly used for cutting cakes.
The reason behind his actions, including why he appeared to threaten passing vehicles, remains unclear.
