A 20-year-old man has pleaded guilty to four sexual offences involving a girl who was 12 years old when the first incidents occurred at a house in Kampung Sura Tengah, Dungun.
The accused entered his pleas at the Sessions Court here today after all four charges were read before Judge Mohd Zul Zakiqudin Zulkifli.
Under the first charge, he was accused of physically assaulting the victim by touching her private parts when she was 12 years and one month old, at about 2am in March 2023.
He was charged with a similar offence against the same victim in June 2023, when she was 12 years and six months old. The alleged incident also took place at the same house, at about 2am.
The third charge involved another alleged act of physical sexual assault against the girl, who was 13 years and five months old at the time. The incident allegedly occurred at the same location at about 8am in June 2024.
For these three charges, the accused was charged under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which provides for a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and whipping upon conviction.
The fourth charge involved an alleged non-physical sexual offence in which the accused was accused of exposing his private parts to the same victim, who was 14 years and eight months old at the time.
The incident allegedly took place at the same house at about 3am on Oct 31, 2025.
