Heavy afternoon rain triggered flash floods at several parts of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Selangor Branch, Puncak Alam campus, leaving roads around the university submerged and disrupting vehicle access.
Photos and videos circulating on social media showed muddy floodwaters covering roads and areas around a bus stop frequently used by students.
Several vehicles, including university buses and Rapid KL buses, were seen making their way through the flooded routes while heavy rain continued.
The footage also showed water rushing through the bus stop area, while some students took shelter under covered spaces to avoid the downpour.
Photographs taken from a nearby building showed roads and parts of a parking area submerged in muddy water.
A Threads user, @nis0piee, expressed shock at the extent of the flooding, saying it was the first time they had witnessed such conditions at the campus.
“Pertama kali aku tengok UiTM Puncak Alam banjir macam ini,” the user wrote.
Another Threads user, @sophiloft, also shared photographs of the flooded area taken from an upper floor of a building, showing roads covered in water.
“Doakan UiTM Puncak Alam,” the user wrote.
As of now, neither the Fire and Rescue Department nor the university has issued an official statement on the incident.
