A minor collision at a traffic light in Kapar turned into an unexpected reunion for two old friends who had lost touch for a decade.
The incident involved Luqmanul Haqim, 33, and his longtime friend, known as Anang, whose cars collided while they were at the traffic lights.
What could have started as an angry exchange between two motorists instead ended in laughter when they recognised each other after the crash.
The unexpected encounter brought the two friends together again after 10 years without contact.
The reunion was shared in a post on Threads, where it caught the attention of social media users amused by the unusual way the pair crossed paths again.
Many users joked about the incident, with some suggesting that one of them might have deliberately caused the collision.
“I suspect he did it on purpose because both his hands were on the steering wheel. What a cheeky friend,” commented Msnoo11.
Another user, Achikk Areboyy, imagined how the encounter unfolded, saying: “In the car, they must have been thinking about what to say, but when they got out and saw an old friend, the anger turned into laughter.”
Others reminded them that being old friends did not mean they could escape responsibility for the damage.
“Even if you’re friends, you still have to pay, right?” one user remarked.
“God brought old friends together. Hope everything goes smoothly for you, boss,” wrote Lee Mamak.
