According to The Mirror, a tragic accident occurred in Turkey when a woman named Pelin Yasot Kiyga was killed after the elevator she entered suddenly plunged from the 7th floor to the ground.

The incident happened on September 30, when Pelin was about to leave for work. As she stepped into the elevator, it abruptly got stuck. Her husband, Gokhan Kiyga, who was standing outside to see her off, sensed something was wrong and tried to pry open the elevator doors. But before he could help, the elevator suddenly dropped all the way down, leaving him in shock as he ran downstairs in panic.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and managed to rescue Pelin from the wrecked elevator. However, she had sustained severe injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital despite efforts to save her.
