A 25-year-old woman in Macau caused a stir on the evening of October 5 when she ran naked through the Gongbei Square, shocking onlookers. Reports indicate that the woman ran from Gongbei Square all the way to the exit of the Gongbei Border Crossing, and during the incident, she appeared to feel unwell and fell while using an escalator, sustaining a scrape on her forehead. Police and firefighters promptly arrived on the scene and transported her to a hospital for treatment.
According to Macau Daily News, the Public Security Police Force (PSP) confirmed that the incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the border area. The 25-year-old Macau resident ran naked from the square toward the border exit, and during the journey, she reportedly lost her balance on the escalator and injured her forehead. Officers who received the alert rushed to assist her and ensured she was safely taken to the hospital. Preliminary investigations indicated that all equipment at the site was functioning normally and the incident did not disrupt border operations.
Fire authorities added that upon arriving at the departure hall, they found the woman with a laceration at the back of her head. Fortunately, her condition was stable, and she was immediately sent to Hospital Conde de São Januário for further treatment.
