Budget 2026: Stamp Duty Exemption For Employment Contracts Raised To RM3,000!

Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the stamp duty exemption threshold for employment contracts will be raised from the current RM300 per month to RM3,000 per month.

He made the announcement this afternoon while presenting the 2026 Budget in the Dewan Rakyat, adding that the new regulation will take effect from January 1 next year to help reduce business operating costs.
