Out of uncontrollable jealousy, a man shot his wife 14 times before turning the gun on himself.
According to a report by Matichon Online, the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Tassakorn, and his wife, 36-year-old Namfon, were found dead in Ban Na San district, Surat Thani province, Thailand, last Thursday.
“Tassakorn was consumed by baseless jealousy even though his wife had no relationship with anyone else,” a family member said. “The couple had argued after he accused her of having an affair, which led him to use violence and ultimately open fire.”
Police said a 9mm pistol was found at the scene. “There were 14 gunshot wounds on the woman’s body, including five to the chest,” a police spokesperson confirmed. “His body was found lying on top of hers.”
The couple, who had been married for over 20 years, leave behind two sons.
