A teenage boy from Thailand stabbed his Laotian co-worker at a car wash in Bang Na last Thursday after allegedly being tricked into drinking urine.
The incident happened around 8:40 a.m. at Soi Bang Na-Trat 20, where police arrived to find the 16-year-old suspect already detained by workers and witnesses at the scene. The 25-year-old victim, who suffered a stab wound to the left side of his body near the ribs, was taken to Bang Na 1 Hospital before officers arrived.
According to The Thaiger, the teenager claimed he attacked the man out of anger after enduring repeated bullying from him. On the day of the incident, the suspect said the victim had mixed urine into his drink and deceived him into consuming it. Furious upon realizing what had happened, he retaliated by stabbing his co-worker.
Matichon reported that the stab wound was not deep and did not damage any vital organs. The victim remained conscious and able to communicate while receiving treatment.
Police confirmed that the suspect, who is still a minor, is currently being held for further investigation. Authorities have not yet disclosed what legal action or penalties he may face, but any measures will be determined according to juvenile justice procedures.
