Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming has pledged to meet with media representatives to resolve the recent controversy involving him.
Government spokesperson Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the issue, which stemmed from an incident between Nga and a reporter during a recent event in Kuala Lumpur, was discussed at today’s Cabinet meeting.
“I believe there’s room for him to meet with the media organization involved, and he has informed us that he will do so to help clarify the situation,” Fahmi said during a post-Cabinet press conference chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
Fahmi added that the minister’s willingness to engage shows his commitment to addressing the matter and maintaining good relations with the media.
