Two 17-Year-Olds Collide in Fatal Motorcycle Crash, One Dead, One Fighting for Life

A man was killed while another was injured in an accident involving two motorcycles at Kilometer 7.4 of the West Coast Expressway (WCE) heading towards Bandar Saujana Putra, Kuala Langat, last night.

The crash, which occurred at around 11:30 p.m., happened when a Yamaha Y15ZR ridden by a 17-year-old from Banting skidded and overturned before being hit by another motorcycle, also ridden by a 17-year-old.

Kuala Langat District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said the Yamaha Y15ZR rider died at the scene, while the other motorcyclist sustained head injuries and was sent to Banting Hospital for treatment.

“Both victims were college students and possessed valid driving licenses,” he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
